Chattanooga is a pretty laid back city. I noticed how quiet it was compared to Atlanta, but was surprised by the amount of things to do and try. There’s a lot of natural scenery here as well.
Less than an hour and a half drive from my house, I loved that I could drive home whenever I wanted. It was a nice break from packing and flying every other week. The assignment started at the perfect time. Summer in July meant lots of warm sunny days along with evening summer breezes. One of my favorite moments was walking the Tennessee river trail after work each day. Walking became my therapeutic escape and my way to unwind after working long 8-10 hour shifts. This was another project where I worked with some amazing people and we’d do movie nights, karaoke, get our nails done, and go out for lunch together. Being close to my family and my home was the icing on the cake, and made my time in Chattanooga even more enjoyable.
